Xinhua training
The Chinese state-owned news agency is the world's largest, employing 10,000 people and operating from 107 international bureaux. In 2009, our consultancy conducted training in Social Affairs Reporting for
Xinhua journalists selected from various divisions within the organisation. The journalists produce their reports in English as well as Chinese to meet the increasing demand for Xinhua's English-language news service. The training, which took place in Beijing, was run in conjunction with the UK-based Thomson Foundation.
