  <description><![CDATA[The Chinese state-owned news agency is the world's largest, employing 10,000 people and operating from 107 international bureaux. In 2009, our consultancy conducted training in Social Affairs Reporting for <a href="http://www.xinhuanet.com/english" target="_blank">Xinhua</a> journalists selected from various divisions within the organisation. The journalists produce their reports in English as well as Chinese to meet the increasing demand for Xinhua's English-language news service. The training, which took place in Beijing, was run in conjunction with the UK-based Thomson Foundation.<p/>
